How Will Disposable Vapes Be In The Future?

Disposable vape kits are great for those who are looking to quit smoking and don’t want to commit to buying coils or replacing pods. They are also fantastic options for backup vapes to be used when traveling or on nights out.

These disposable vapes are pre-filled with e-liquid, so there is no need to refill.

After the rage of disposable vapes has died down across social media platforms like TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram, will disposable vapes cease to be “a thing”?

We don’t think so! As a whole, disposable vapes like GeekBars and Elf Bars, have made waves in the vaping community, not only for the intense flavours that they produce but also for the simplicity of the design. Auto firing, flavor-packed, discreet, and yet powerful little devices make for an ideal companion to many vapers day to day lives, we personally use them on nights out where we would much rather run the risk of losing a few pounds than losing up to hundreds in some cases (it’s a bit of a no-brainer really!)

We have been carefully monitoring the market of disposable vapes and how they have evolved over time, leading us to this phenomenon that we are all currently in the midst of. From standard prefilled pods that have barebones flavors mainly focusing around tobacco derivatives, to now boasting an extensive range of choices ranging from banana all the way to cotton candy and everything in between.

The future for disposable vapes looks extremely bright in the sense that the demand for a simpler and more compact device will always be around, regardless of if you are an avid vaper or a newcomer to the scene, something along these lines makes life that little bit easier, which I think is something we all want.

But what about TPD?

Well as it currently stands, the UK is still abiding by the TPD laws (Tobacco Products Directive) which states that any tank/device can not exceed a 2ml capacity when sold. While this is an EU law, it seems that the UK will continue to advocate these laws for the foreseeable future. Due to this reason, it seems highly unlikely that any devices will come out exceeding the 1000 puffs mark anytime soon (although they are widely available outside of the UK, sales of them in the UK is prohibited)

Keeping in the same theme as they currently are it seems difficult for disposable vapes to evolve beyond this point. However, we said the same thing about how far tanks had come, and VooPoo came in with the PnP pod and exploded the vaping world yet again! So never say never!

So what’s next?

If we are completely honest, we don’t 100% know, while we have been talking closely with a few disposable vapes manufacturers it is unclear where we go from here, other than new flavours. A few ideas are in the pipeline for the next step forward, but this could take time and have its own set of fallbacks, as it stands currently taking into account all laws and legislations, it appears that disposable vapes may have reached the peak in their design, power and duration of use.

Needless to say that nor we or anyone else can predict the future, and we in no way think disposable vapes are going anywhere and enjoy them ourselves regularly, but only time will tell what the future holds for this new craze.
